About our teachers
Karen
and Amy have 20 combined
years of Kindergarten through Fifth grade teaching
experience
and are teachers at Oakmont. Karen holds a teaching
certificate
from Texas and Amy has certification from Washington,
Oregon and
Texas. Both have travelled outside the U.S. to Mexico, Costa
Rica,
Norway, China and several European countries. They bring their love of
travel,
world cultures, and learning to the Journeys Camp. If you would like to
